The Gentle Runners is a welcoming running group for complete beginners through to those working toward a 5k, 10k or beyond — no experience needed.
Our £3 weekly sessions offer a gentle introduction to running, starting with simple yoga-based warm-ups before an easy run of up to one mile (around 30–40 minutes). There’s no pressure on pace or time — this group is all about support, confidence, and steady progress.
For those ready to build further, our 6-week Yoga Mat to 5k course (£15) will guide you toward running 3.1 miles, giving you the tools and belief to embrace your inner runner and reach your goals.
All you need is comfy trainers and a drink.
